Deerisle Rules

General Rules

  1. Make sure your player name and discord name are the same.
  2. This is a PVE ONLY server and Admins will enforce this.
  3. Any form of bullying and racial or sexual abuse will not be tolerated. It will result in an immediate BAN.
  4. This is not the place to be toxic. If you are caught you can expect you will be dealt with swiftly and appropiately.
  5. Please only use English in global chat.
  6. Do not glitch, clip, grief, hack, dupe, cheat or otherwise seek to gain an unfair advantage! You will be caught!
  7. You may disagree with our decisions, but it’s our house and our rules.
  8. No fly zones are just that. Expect severe repercussions if you attempt to fly into a no fly zone. If we catch you we will delete your aircraft mid flight and will not reimburse you the loss of the aircraft or the gear within.

Property Rights

  1. Stealing any item(s) is not allowed!
  2. Players caught stealing will receive a temporary or permanent ban.
  3. If you find an unlocked vehicle, it belongs to a player. Leave it alone.
  4. Something on the ground at the trader may belong to someone. Ask around before scooping it up for yourself.
  5. Do not enter another player’s base without first gaining their permission.
  6. Do not loot grave crosses. You can loot your own, or that of your team members if they give you permission.

Base Building Rules

Building Standalone Bases

  1. There are size limits to how big your base can be.
    • Solo player is allowed a 2x2x2
    • Duo team a 3x3x2
    • Trio team a 3x3x3
    • Quad+ a 4x4x3
  2. You are welcome to modify the general structure of how the base is set up as long as it is the same volume.
    • Example - A 2x2x2 (2 walls in length, width, & height) can be turn into a 2x1x4 (2 walls in length, 1 wall in width, and 4 walls in height).
  3. If you violate the dimensions in which you allowed you will be notified in Discord to fix it.
  4. You will have 72 hours to fix your base. By the 96th hour mark after notification it is at the ADMINS’ DISCRETION on whether to delete a portion of your base or the entirety of your base!

Building in a Vanilla Building

  1. You are only authorized to take up 1 vanilla building with your base or 1 free standing base build. Taking up additional buildings can result in a deletion of your entire base plus its contents.
  2. There are BBP panel limits that is imposed for building in a vanilla building. They are as follows:
    • Panels are building kits such as walls, doors, roofs, floors, etc.
    • 10 panels solo
    • 15 panels duo
    • 20 panels trio
    • 25 panels squad plus
  3. The apartment building that are placed exactly side by side count as 1.
  4. You are authorized to place a door/wall on any entrance/exit of the building which will not go against your panel count.
  5. You are authorized 1 Room Divider per person.

Storage

  1. UTILIZE the store/restore option with all storage devices. That is virtual storage and will help keep lag at a minimum.
  2. If you do not store your items you will be notified in Discord by an Admin. You have 3 strikes before you risk repercussions. On the 4th strike it is at the ADMINS’ DISCRETION if your storage device will be deleted with all contents and you will not be reimbursed!

Territory

  1. Do not block roads, vanilla sheds or vanilla greenhouses.
  2. No building within fire stations, police stations and hospitals.
  3. No more than 2 tents per person/5 per group of any size (The Viking Hut counts as a tent).
  4. 2 Greenhouses max or 4 planter boxes max.

Vehicles Rules

  1. Vehicles on Dayz are unreliable and glitchy so use them at your own risk!
  2. Do not have more than 1 vehicle outside the garage.
    • If you are transferring goods from 1 vehicle to another that is fine. We ask that you don’t do it at the trader though.
  3. Always have tools with you to recover your vehicle.
  4. Always park your vehicle inside the garage.
    • Keeping them out and logging off is at your own risk. A vehicle left on the map can despawn, be impounded, or be deleted!
  5. No refunds for lost vehicles if you parked it outside instead of using the garage!
    • No inventory or items will be replaced.

Loot cycling

  1. Loot cycling means systematically dragging away and dropping (or destroying) unwanted, cheap loot from spawn points to make space for new and maybe better or more valuable loot.
    • It does not mean for example dropping damaged clothes to pick up new ones or drop for example a vest from inventory to make space for a gun you just found.
  2. Loot cycling will be punished.
  3. Repeated offenders will get a permanent ban.

AI City

  1. Only one team at a time in AI City.
  2. No piggybacking on the same keycard.
  3. Do not sell information or share information regarding AI City outside your group.
  4. Med Team is available for assistance while you run through AI City types of assistance involve:
    • Body Recovery
    • Care of live patient if you can stay alive long enough for the Med Team to arrive.
    • If available, you can always request a Med Team member to make the run with you. Just understand that the entrance fee to get in comes at your responsibility.
  5. Admins can help, but please understand that going through AI City is at your own risk and an Admin DOES NOT have to assist you. (We encourage the use of the Med Team.)

KMUC & Volcano

Med Team, Taxi Team, Hotel Staff

  1. These teams are made up of player volunteers that have zero admin capabilities.
  2. Respect our Team Members. They do not have to volunteer to help their fellow players if they are not clocked in.
    • Disrespecting a Team Member will be treated the same if you disrespected an Admin. Expect severe consequences.
  3. DO NOT steal from our Team Members. They may have personal stuff within the inventory of their vehicles.
    • If you are caught stealing items from a Team Member, you will face a 3 day ban at the minimum.

Fishing

  1. DO NOT throw your unwanted catches on the ground. Please dispose of them!
